If you take daily trips from Hisarönü Bay, the first stop is "Camellia Island". The coast of the island of Kamelya, where you leave the hills with a very interesting rock structure on your left from the Selimiye exit and reach the sea by a 45-minute journey, has a place of cleanness and clarity preferred by yachts. There is a monastery on the shore of the sea, which allows people of all ages to climb. The giant mosaic on the monastery floor, made of black, white and gray sea stones, is full of tourists who want to lay on it and integrate with history. In 1948, the excavations made by Prof. Dr. George Ewart Bean proved that Amos is at least a 2200 year old city according to the lease agreements from 200 B.C.
The magnificent Amos Bay, located in Turunç Street in Kumlubük district, has a considerable reputation with the beauty of the sea as well as the ancient city built on the hill, the area of the steep seaside view of the sea. First of all, you can climb this hill easily. You can take a walk through the ruins of the ancient city, where excavations have been stopped many years ago, and since then, not a single nail has been hit, and you can explore the dusty pages of history.
As you watch the sunrise and sunsets from different angles, it shows how rich the history of the land that you are on.
